Nothing came easy for our Mustangs on Saturday, as they fell 8-1 to the Bothell Cougars.
The Mustangs opened up scoring in the second inning by scoring one run when #6 Chase Lawson singled and drove in #23 Josh Roof.
#12 Hiroshi Johnson started on the pitcher’s mound for the Mustangs. The righty lasted four innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out six. #21 Vardaan Sangal and #4 Zach Gunn entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Lawson, #14 Josh Tyler, Roof, and #9 Brandon Dayberry each managed one hit to lead the Mustangs.
