Mustangs Gallop Back Only to Fall Short to Inglemoor in Extra Inning Loss, 6-5.

A walk-off in the 8th inning left our Mustangs on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to the Inglemoor Varsity Vikings on Thursday. 

The Mustangs fell behind by four runs in the 3rd inning but boldly fought back in the 6th inning to tie the game at 5-5.  The Mustangs scored four runs in the 6th inning with a double by #14 Josh Tyler, a double by #1 Ethan Tung, a single by #11 Aidan Kim, and a walk from #17 Cavin Bowmer.

#21 Vardaan Sangal started the game for Redmond Varsity Mustangs. The pitcher surrendered one run on four hits over two innings, striking out two. #4 Zach Gunn came in relief in the 3rd inning allowing four runs and three hits, striking out two. #6 Chase Lawson pitched in relief for 4 innings allowing no runs, two hits and striking out four. Tyler tossed for a third of an inning allowing one run and one hit.

The Mustangs scattered 14 hits in the game.  Tung, #23 Josh Roof, #15 Mathias Gendzwill, and Bowmer each managed multiple hits for the Stangs.  Tung led Redmond Varsity Mustangs with three hits in four at bats.
