Despite having many opportunities to score, the Mustangs could not capitalize in their 4-1 loss to the Woodinville Falcons on Monday night.
#21 Vardaan Sangal started pitching for the Mustangs and admirably went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs (all unearned) on 5 hits, striking out 7 batters and walking 2. #4 Owen Gore came in relief in the 6th innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. The Mustangs struggled to be sure-handed during the game with 5 errors on the field.
#15 Cavin Bower went 2-for-4 at the plate as the shortstop led the Mustangs with one run batted in. #12 Lance Burt stole two bases in the games out of the total five stolen bases by the Mustangs.
The Mustangs will regroup and take on the Inglemoor Vikings at Hartman Park on Wednesday, 4/3, at 6:00pm.
