Please join us at the RHS baseball field for a work party on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Though the snow will limit what we can do, we need to clean fence toppers; replace/adjust privacy slats; pressure-wash dugouts; hang the backstop padding; hang batting cage nets at RHS; clear debris; and more.
We also want to remove snow from the Hartman cages.
What to bring: Bring a bucket and rags or a bristle brush to clean fence toppers and tools to hack at shrubs and blackberries. We also need plastic snow shovels and wheelbarrows for snow-removal from the Hartman cages, and 8-foot or taller freestanding ladders for hanging nets at the RHS cages.
What to wear: Wear warm clothes, boots, and work gloves. Bring a change of dry clothes.
Parents: Sharon Curry will be at the scorer’s booth at Hartman Park at 10 a.m. (with coffee) for anyone who wants to learn how to run the scoreboard. It’s your first volunteer opportunity of the season!

You can drop off your gear with a coach at 7:15 a.m. outside the boy’s locker room on each day of tryouts and we’ll secure your bag during the school day. Be sure to confirm with the coach when and where to retrieve it; you’re responsible for getting your gear to the field.
