Winter Workouts Begin Monday, Oct. 30th

As the Redmond High Baseball Booster Club, we are excited to share with families that we have Tyler Grisdale coming in to train with our boys this winter. Tyler was a strength and conditioning coach in the Miami Marlins organization and has returned home for the winter. We are excited to have the opportunity for him to train with RHS student-athletes. See his linked-in bio for more information!

Since the Booster Club is bringing Tyler in for training, we will be asking for the athletes to pay $125 each to go towards the costs of bringing Tyler on board.  These fees will be collected next week as training begins. You can write a check to Redmond Baseball Boosters and send it with your student next week when training begins, or if you would like to mail a check, please let me know and I can send the address to individuals that ask.  Please know that the cost of $125 per individual for winter training is not a guarantee of making a team.  It is merely an opportunity to get in shape and get stronger as we head toward spring. Many sports have tryouts and will make cuts through the process.

When players participate in winter training, goals are to work on strengthening their core and lower halves, while maintaining balance. Winter training is a benefit to any player on and off the field.

We would like to begin winter training on October 30th. The schedule will be Mondays 2:20 - 3:45; Wednesdays 12:20 - 1:45; and Thursdays 2:20-3:45. When winter sports begin on Nov. 13, we may have to change our schedule up a bit, but we will notify you of that as it gets closer.
