Yuma Masaki was untouchable.

The Sophomore pitcher threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 to lead the Mustangs JV squad to a 1-0 victory over Lake Washington on Saturday.

The only Kangaroo base runner Masaki allowed was a hit batter in the second. He promptly picked him off.

Redmond scored its lone run in the first when the Mustangs loaded the bases with two outs and Tyler Ferry hit a ground ball that the third baseman couldn’t handle. John Atchley trotted home from third.

Masaki took over from there, throwing just 88 pitches and striking out at least two batters in five of his seven dominating innings of work.
